This place keeps me coming back!!

I have several trips here lately. Such a good central and safe place to stay. The best thing this place has going is the Staff! No attitudes and always, always helpful and gracious. I am no celebrity but I get first class treatment from the valets to the bartenders. You cannot beat this!! NOLA has a great stay here!

Best place to stay in NOLA!

I have stayed at this Hyatt several times. I can truly say that the staff was terrific. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. This is my third trip in several months. I have had to extend my stay 3 times. I know I have come into contact with nearly everyone. The service is the best and makes me love NOLA even more. I have already told my family and others who come to New Orleans that this is the place to stay!

This is my second time visiting this lovely hotel. One of my reasons for returning was because of the beautiful lobby bar/resturant. My first experience was that their gumbo and skillet cornbread was to die for.second time NO CORNBREAD so sad . My room was a little dark. NO CORNBREAD. I requested early check in didn’t happen. NO CORNBREAD! Staff was lovely but yet NO CORNBREAD. How could something so easy and inexpensive to make yet so delicious the way they made it be taken off the menu?

Our stay was good, the service and staff was average to good, and the breakfast okay to good. We chose the included breakfast prior to booking which was a buffet on the weekend and only one particular menu item on a weekday. I wish there would have been a wider option to choose from on a weekday. I rated the hotel as noisy not because of the surrounding area (we actually didn’t here anything noise related from Bourbon street) but because we had a connecting room and we could here everything - including snoring - from our neighbors.

The fire alarm battery started beeping at 3am and no maintenance were on site to switch the batteries, so I had to switch to a new room. Staff responded quickly with what they could do, but frustrating all the same.
