The Front Desk staff were very friendly and hospitable. Especially the lady on Sunday morning-working the Front Desk. She helped me get my glasses fixed, finding a screw, and screwdriver, and getting maintenance to come up and help me. I didn't catch her name though. She was there on Sunday morning, about 8:30am. I loved her antedotes about fixing things! We nicknamed her Ms. Fixit! Can you give her a raise? Thank you for a great time in New Orleans, I would love to return and stay again.

Great value and location

The location is great, you're not in the middle of all the action, but you're only 15 minutes away (walking) from the fun. It was quiet the entire stay. The room had everything we needed. My only complaint was the bed wasn't comfortable. It was very hard/firm. Also do not think you HAVE to pay for parking. We were there 4 days during jazz fest and was able to park on the street the whole time for free. We would stay here again.

Stayed for a quick weekend getaway. It was comfortable and met our needs for an overnight stay. Free breakfast was good. And they accommodated holding our bags before check in and after check out so we could enjoy the city. Full kitchen would be great for someone needing extended stay.

It was my birthday weekend and it was a blast. I liked that it felt more like an apartment than a hotel. I especially enjoyed that there were ceiling fans in the bedroom and in the living room. Would definitely stay here again

Wish it had been better

The staff — OUTSTANDING! The room — not so much. It was difficult to regulate the air-conditioning (too hot or too cold), not enough linens, no blow dryer, not enough paper products, housekeeping only if requested 24-hours in advance, and most disappointing, the sofa bed was nearly unusable as the mattress was thin and way past its date of expiration. Breakfast was passable and the location is good for long walks to the French Quarter. Based on the extraordinary quality of the staff, we had hoped for a better experience.

I was surprised by how dated the property is for a Sonesta property. The shower leaked, ceiling fans were missing the cord to turn them off, the carpet was worn. However, the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful and the surrounding area was full of restaurants, galleries, and the WWII museum.

Located within the Warehouse District (working to become the Arts District), the hotel is located a few blocks from the World War II museum, the Convention Center and access to the buses, trolleys and hop on hop off rides.

They told us if we paid 100 we could check in early got there and was able to check in until 30 before reg check in. Valet parking messed with truck when in their possession with radio and seat.
