We had a very relaxing stay at The Hotel Ponchartrain. The amenities were wonderful. The staff was kind and prompt. It has an enjoyable and busy bar downstairs and on the rooftop. Will stay again

Excellent location! Easy access to the streetcar, walkable to Magazine St. While the rooms are quiet, the hotel has two fun bars and a cute cafe to get coffee/breakfast. This would be my pick for a return trip. Easy check in and out, beautiful lobby, historic charm. Great experience.

Beautiful vintage hotel directly on the trolley route. They only give you one room key though. It is an actual key and not a key card. The rooms are smaller than one might like for the cost of the stay. We had a two room Thalia suite.
