Due to the snowstorm, the restaurant was closed. There was a group waiting to get on a cruise ship who literally took over the small bistro area, leaving very little room for anybody else, unfortunately. The manager refused to open the breakfast room to make room for the additional people. The hotel itself was decent enough for an airport hotel, and I will say that the shower pressure was exceptionally good. The beds aren’t bad… It’s a good place to stay if you need to crash for a night while waiting for a flight out of Newark. Be advised that if you take their airport shuttle, he only stops at terminal B, and then you’ll have to take a light rail to the other terminal, and then a shuttle bus from there to the actual terminal. Very little signs or instructions. We were a party of six, including my 87-year-old mother, and it was not the most enjoyable experience for us. But at least they have a shuttle and we didn’t have to get an Uber to get there.

Positives: convenient to airport, across from outlet mall, and breakfast. Negatives: rude upon check-in. She never greeted me, only asked for my ID while talking to the shuttle driver. Waited at the airport over an hour for the shuttle. Other hotel shuttles stopped 2-3 times before ours arrived. We had to call the hotel to inquire on the status and was td the driver was there at the hotel and would be leaving soon. Unacceptable! And on check out day, we asked about the shuttle schedule to return to the airport. We needed the 4pm shuttle. We were in the lobby at 3:35pm and when the shuttle arrived at 3:55pm, we wheeled our luggage to load and was told by Rico that his "shift was over" and we needed to wait for the next driver. Again, unacceptable as we had a flight to catch!
