Impressive

Every was amazing, but the mattresses are more firm than I find comfortable. I had to take the extra comforter and blanket from the closet to pad the mattress a bit to sleep. The room was huge, super clean, modern, the bathroom was huge, they even included a shower chair, which helped me A LOT. This is what I expect for the nightly rates... a softer mattress too... but my husband and teen daughter slept fine. Lots of lighting, plenty of outlets. Only 2.5 miles from the prudential center for a concert. Safe fenced and gated parking. It was amazingly quiet for how close it is to the highway and airport. Great variety for breakfast with very nice people working at breakfast. Very crowded at breakfast though, even though the seating area was quite large. We chose to get our food and go back to our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for attending concerts and other events at the Prudential. I will highly recommend Lyfte for transportation and book ahead so you dont get swept up in the after concert excitement and pay almost as much as it is to stay one night at the hotel.

Poor Location – Not Ideal for Holiday Stays

The location is quite poor if you're visiting for a holiday. Apart from the airport, everything else is far from the hotel. While they advertise a free airport shuttle, don’t count on it for anything else — we ended up spending quite a bit on cabs and other transport just to get around. If you don’t drive and are coming on vacation, I’d strongly recommend booking a hotel closer to the main attractions or city center. This place is only convenient for a layover or short airport stay — definitely not for exploring.

Basic Stay Near Newark, But Service Needs Work

The rooms were fine and the beds comfortable. This is a typical budget hotel conveniently located near Newark Airport. However, the customer service needs improvement. The front desk staff member in the morning, possibly named Emilia, was unhelpful and unprepared. Although the hotel had promised “to go breakfast bags” for early departures, none were available when we checked out before 6 AM. The four of us were left with just one apple and two breakfast bars. This was a very disappointing experience.

While the breakfast options are great it was so crowded that you couldn’t get to anything and nowhere to sit. I’ve been in a lot of hotels over the years even for big events and never seen anything like it. Felt like people just wandered in off the street to eat. Also kids were running wild in the pool and hot tub area & it needed to be shut down for cleaning the next day.

Fire safety concerns

Air conditioning heating unit were broke smelt like burnt hair when turned on and could not get help from staff. They told me we would have to wait until the next day although it smelled like a fire could have started.

Way older. Pool does not look like the website. Nasty. Front desk staff were more annoyed with us checking in than happy to see us. The hotel is in like an island surrounded by interstate. Im from dc/northern va. Drivers in NJ dont give a hockey puck. Im never driving there again.

Bess are terrible

The stay was good for what it was for. Family trip for visit to American Dream Mall. The beds were absolutely horrible, it felt like sleeping on the box spring with no mattress. The pull out couch was also disappointing - it was only about 3 inches thick and completely flattened when anyone laid on it. We ultimately ended up just sleeping on the couch without the pullout.

There was a specific lady at the front desk who clearly had no desire to do her job. Every time I want downstairs to buy water or snacks she wouldn’t speak. Never even said hi, she just looked up and rang up my food. One time I asked if there’s was plastic silverware and she didn’t even respond, she just pointed in the direction without saying a word. The last “interaction “ I had with her was me getting more water and before she would ring me up she had to finish her casual conversation with the other employee. She’s the reason I’m not giving our stay 5 stars.

The room was large and set up well for working online, and there were several convenient lunch options (pre-made salad and soups) to buy downstairs when I didn't have time to go out. There was also a mini fridge and microwave in the room, which was very helpful. It was also near the Prudential Center and straight forward to get there.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff was nice. Mattress was very hard, and also lumpy. Furniture was scratched and the room just looked like it needed an update. Also didn't care for having a bath tub instead of a shower. This is very close to the airport and was therefore very noisy.
