This is a very tied hotel that lacks maintenance. It does have a large carpark attached and is in a reasonable location to walk into the city centre. There are some good restaurants nearby such as Restaurant 21.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful stay at the the Copthorne hotel for my birthday. When we checked in i was over the moon to hear that we had been upgraded to a suite.It was beautiful, wonderful view from our window. Breakfast was lovely. Staff so friendly. I enjoyed this all so much .A big thank you.

Highly recommended.

The Copthorne was wonderful, it was warm and inviting, with helpful and supportive staff members. We only stayed the one night but will be sure to return soon. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, and the room was immaculate, with views out onto the river which were second to none. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with a good selection of food.

Very helpful and friendly reception staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though the hotel is in need of a bit of a refresh and facelift. It is well located on the riverfront with great views.

Everything was great! I forgot some items and they shipped to me in London! My only complaint is that there is no heat in the gym, it was freezing in there…other than that, comfortable beds, hot shower s and great location. Staff very friendly

Our favourite hotel

Greeted by the lovely Danielle on reception who is a credit to the hotel, we had another lovely stay at the hotel. We are regular visitors to the copthorne, mainly on a Sunday, food is great and rooms are really comfortable. The car park is ideal and its a bonus that you get a discount for being a guest. We will definitely be back soon
