Brilliant Spa facilities; probably the best of all the hotels I stay in Bedroom lighting appalling; impossible to do any paperwork in the evening. Needs at least a standard lamp near the desk. Unfortunately the sink waste & hot tap didn't work & couldn't be fixed until the following day.

Disappointed

On arrival cfm 'd my booking of cosy double. Gave room number and key and directed to follow the signs. What I wasn't expecting was the journey to the basement and service area involving 6 flights of stairs, double & single doors and long corridors. Room itself was small clean and compact but suitable for our stay. We spoke to reception about our disappointment that evening, but were basically told we'd purchased a cosy double saud yes but i wasnt aware it was in the basement! Really would recommend as dampened our experience of this hotel and won't be staying again. Also note the rooms ARE NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE and anyone mobility compromised may find it difficult to get to your room. Advise to contact and let them know. Won't let me upload pics

£7 to use the gym and leisure club

Very nice hotel with great rooms and great food, 1 let down was the fact I had to pay £7 to use the gym and leisure club even though I was a guest at the hotel and had already paid around £100 for a room.
