I would have given five stars but the heating in the room was broken and some of the furniture in the room is-was a little shabby in places where you really notice it. Executive lounge is very useful nicely supplied and thoughtfully located. Great view of the city.

Worst experience. Stayed there for 3 nights and paid full price for all 3 nights but room service was awful. They didn’t put the water every day. Got stung on my eye due to some sort of insect or spider at the middle of night. The telephone facility in the room was useless. Doesn’t matter which service you call, all the time got the line engaged tone. Need to go down to reception every time. The restaurant staff did not allow me to have evening meal at 8.00 pm. Reason was they are getting it ready for tomorrow morning breakfast. Overall RUBBISH service in every department of the hotel.

Lovely

Lovely hotel - staff were so friendly and helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The room was very comfortable and we had a great view of the river. Couple of minor niggles, the room service tray wasn’t collected for quite a while and I did have to ask for it to be removed. The heating is way too high and I couldn’t adjust it. The bathroom was clean but very tired and in desperate need of updating. The shower wasn’t great and had an old fashioned curtain over the bath that was a little mouldy in places.
