The hotel is old but has been redone inside but most hotels by the fishermans wharf are. Location is great if you want to be near fishermans wharf, Giradelli Square. Area appeared safe even at night. Close to transporation we did not need a car during our stay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, all greet you nicely, gave great tips , have free snacks for guests.

This hotel was extra clean! The staff was amazing they went out of their way to make you feel welcome and they check on us every day to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was also a 10 out of 10. They also had snack you could get at the front counter during the day in honor of the Super Bowl. The location was amazing for all the area attractions. We have stayed in San Francisco before, but first time at this hotel and definitely would stay every time here. 10+ out of 10! * the man that was in the lobby watching the restroom and had some information and tickets for the area was also great. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We did get tickets for him, but he was not at all pushy just helpful.

Another chair in a room that can accomodate 2 people should be a must. It's hard to move around the room because it's small and having only one chair makes it much more difficult.

Hotel needs updating specially the AC in the rooms. Each time the AC would start iy would make a very loud noise. Beds are very hard and unconfortable. service and Staff were great!

I really recommend this hotel! Our check-in was incredibly smooth, and the room was both clean and surprisingly spacious. The free breakfast was a perfect addition to our mornings. The location is unbeatable—the neighborhood felt very safe and walkable. It’s a short stroll to the pier for shopping and dining, and also very close to North Beach. My only concern was that I didn’t see any visible stairways or signage for them. In the event of an emergency, I worry it would be difficult for guests to evacuate safely. Aside from that, I had no issues and would definitely stay here again!
