Cleveland House is charming, & perfect location to walk all over Newport. Blocks to the warfs, Thames street , restaurants, Broadway, & lots of historic homes to see. Free parking. Rooms are small, clean & comfortable with minimal storage area…. Not great if you need space for big suitcases or work supplies. Shower was large & very nice, no counters or shelves for supplies. Good coffee in the breakfast area each morning. Perfect location priced well for the area, we would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at The Cleveland House this week, very accommodating and friendly staff. Room was clean with a comfortable bed and A/C. Definitely will plan to stay here again in the future.

“Bed and Breakfast” it is not, in my opinion. This is just a place to put your down at night.

The location was great. The host, Rick was very friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms are small, outdated, and have a musty smell. The bed was very uncomfortable with a poor mattress. Overall, the only reason to stay here is for the location.

We arrived at the Cleveland House and couldn't be happier with the reception we received from Otelia at the front desk. She was very driendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect...a very short walk to dining, shopping and just wandering around on Thames Street. We will absolutely rebook at the Cleveland House when we visit Newport again.

Charming little Inn

Very charming little inn. Was clean and comfortable. They were considerate in picking a room comfortable for my pregnant wife. Offered good restaurant recommendations. Would stay here again.
