Check-in was smooth, the staff on the check-in counter was super nice & explained everything in detail. Room was nice & clean, kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The complimentary breakfast was a good add on to have. Overall it was a nice stay.

Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Front desk and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was nice and comfortable. Ample parking although I don’t like being charged extra for parking. Blend it into the room rate instead.

The hotel is basic but appropriate for the lower price point. Bad points: 1) The cooked breakfast items are disgusting. There are only two options daily. These appear to be egg patties made of some sort of fake egg product dyed white and yellow to give a superficial fried egg appearance. The other is a flacid, smelly, low grade sausage patty, variably cooked between cremated and raw. Both of these items are inedible and sickening to look at. Lukewarm sweaty garbage. 2) There is no soap provided by the hot tubs in king rooms. 3) Parking is very expensive. 4) Hotel is dated 5) Hotel can be loud at times, be it other guests, irritating housekeeping staff playing music from their phone outside your door or the neighbouring businesses all of which have loudspeakers playing music on the outside of their premises. Hotel is not appropriate for sound-sensitive people. Good points 5) I had a king room with the hot tub. This was nice with excellent heat and water pressure, but I had to transport soap from the shower area in a cup. 6) Plenty of towels and bedding was incredibly comfortable. 7) The location and convenience of staying here is second to none for a few days exploring the area 8) The cold food options and make-your-own waffle station at breakfast are pretty good, let down by the idea of edible hot food being available. 9) There is good coffee available at breakfast and for free all day in reception. This is welcome in winter.
