Worst service. Overbooked

The Hotel we booked suddenly told us that they have plumbing issues and we were sent to Hilton Hotel. The Hotels.com charged me $307 while the invoice I received from Hilton Hotel is $257. Parking is not included and the information about parking is vague.

Hi there, Oakes hotel transferred us actually at Hilton Fallsview because there was an issue with our room. So we get the same king sized bed and view of the falls which is amazing! So if I were to rate it was excellent because they have upgraded us into a much more expensive one.

I booked at the oakes, and they had issues so instead of upgrading me they gave me a room at the hilton, still with falls view but at much less value than the one I paid for. When i arrived i had to drive 700 meters away for parking at their "external lot" because the internal was full. The check in staff was not friendly. Other than this the bell hop was awesome, and the view was still okay. Not as good as what I paid for, but fine. Those 2 reaaons are the only reason I am not leaving 1 star.

We got switched to a different hotel because of plumbing issues! We got switched to the Hilton and that was terrible! We had no air conditioning in our room, then when we did get a new room we had cold water for the majority of our stay! It was slightly fixed at one moment but we only got luke warm water! Second day another cold shower day! Pick a better hotel to send your guests

As it seems to happen, the Oakes was having ‘plumbing issues’ and moved us to a different hotel. At least we got the same rate at a better hotel.
