Compare Ski Hotels in North Lake Tahoe

We had a little confusion when we first got to the property. When we got to the motel the doors were locked. I called the number on the door and they explained that you do a pre check in form and they send you a code to your room. They said they didn’t have a phone number for me so they couldn’t text me the form. It was snowing pretty hard (on the 3rd of May lol) and we were tired from the drive. The form wouldn’t allow me to put in my credit card number so the staff member on the phone put it in. Not being able to get into our room right away was a bit of a bummer. Make sure the motel has your number! Once in we found the room to be clean and well stocked with towels and coffee. The motel is across from the lake but it looks like if you are on the third floor you would have a view. There is no elevator so keep that in mind when booking your room. The location is good and there is a good steakhouse right next door. There are several restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream places within a short drive from the motel. All and all for the price it was good motel!

Was nice, but many hidden fees.

One thing that was odd is that there was no microwave in our room. Yet there was a nice assortment of tea bags....why? I was told that is true for "Basic" rooms. At the price one pays at this hotel, there is no such thing as a "basic" room. Don't turn the hotel industry into an airline where one pays for every single thing.

Excellent location, love evo vibe /philosophy and good restaurant on property. Biggest downside and it’s significant is complete lack of noise insulation while you’re in room since you hear everything from rooms next door/rooms below, even with windows closed. Hope evo does noise insulation to improve this.

Hot tub was great, but not covered. That wast so convenient since it was snowing. Rooms are not renovated, but nicely decorated. Otherwise great pretty property that feels like you are in the alps. The ski storage is only open until 9 though so after hours you have to bring your ski gear back to the room.

The room was clean and perfectly functional. The outside needs some repairs. Location was excellent! Very convenient.
