Avoid the 'Historical Part' of the Hotel

I paid for an upgrade to a luxury suite in the 'historical part'. However, the 'historical part ' of the hotel had paper thin walls. My room was directly above the lobby. Not only it had a noisy lobby bar, it also keep the music on in the lobby throughout the night. I got to hear all night. I had stayed in the newer part in a trip last year. The room was excellent. The restaurant was crowded the first night I got there. The receptionist said I could easily get a table when I ask him to make a reservation at checkin. It wasn't the case. The only seat I could get was at end of the bar by a trash can. Downtown Milwarkee is not safe to walk after dark. So, there was really no other dining option if you arrive late.

we ALWAYS stay at the pfister when we’re in MKE! definitely the nicest hotel around. staff was very friendly and helpful, there is zero tude here! we actually got upgraded to a suite at no extra charge..so my bday was already starting out good :) i love everything about this property, even the haunted history of it!!

This hotel is a gem. It's like taking a step back in time. You get in and are greeted with champagne while you wait to check in. The rooms are beautiful. It's in a great walkable area! Top notch it felt like and experience staying here.

The best hotel we've ever stayed at. Classic old architecture but remodeled with all the modern amenities and maintained immaculately. My only complaint was the parking charge of $38 per day. Seems excessive!

Layla and Rishav were lovely at check in making sure our room was exactly what we wanted. we stayed in a wonderful quiet room on the 8 th floor in the historic part of the hotel. Dinner at the Mason Grill also perfect ! We can’t wait to come back.
