We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Marriot. It is located at a great location in the Sydney downtown area. Public transportation and plenty of food/restaurant options nearby. We found our room modern and clean, and the hotel staff was eager to help us with questions about the area.

For a supposedly superior room, at $800+, with Club Lounge Access, the room itself was disappointingly ordinary. The bathroom was certainly in need of a refurbish, with chipped tiles in the shower. It was also disappointing to return to our room at 3.45pm, only to have to wait in the lounge downstairs for it to be serviced. We had to ask for soap in the vanity area.
