Okay stay

It was okay, nothing in the room looked dirty but the thermostat didn’t seem to work or it couldn’t be adjusted and some noticeable wear on furniture but not too bad. Can’t say anything about the pool area as I didn’t use it.

The website states that kids under 11 eat for free, that's not true. They charge for kids at the restaurant, and there is no complimentary breakfast. After our kids dropped something under the bed, you can clearly tell it hasn't been cleaned in months, which is surprising because it's not even carpeted. There is parking on site, which can increase in price whenever there is a big event. The staff was friendly.

Feel it should be a little more clear that you have to pay for parking and yet there is “free” parking out front of the hotel on Sunday as well. Just so you know., the shuttle service only takes you to the airport. But the website says it will take you 3.1 miles which is just 1/2 a mile short of Ameristar casino in Council Bluffs which was our destination. All in all we enjoyed the room.

Good but bed more towels for a Waterpark hotel

The beds were very comfortable, which was a definite plus. However, we only found one towel and washcloth in our room. We had to go back downstairs to request more after swimming. It would be helpful if extra towels and washcloths were provided initially. Overall, it was a decent stay.

The entire staff was exceptional. However we had multiple issues with outlets and charging USBs in the room. Many didn’t work at all. The water park area was a bit dark, but still very fun. The food in the restaurant was good but again quite limited on the breakfast buffet. Coffee was not hot and they were often out of things but as I said staff seemed very willing to fix what they could.

It worked out perfectly for our overnight before surgery. I was able the get a discount price because we had a surgery at UNC in the morning. Unfortunately I ended up paying more because my reservation was messed up. It was some how booked on the 14 when it was supposed to be the 17. Holiday inn would not refund the charge back to Expedia. Extremely upset and will not be back to that hotel

The staff were more than accommodating as they were changing computer systems and had to get our information again while staying. They were more than pleasant and offered many solutions.

They were switching computer systems so they had a little issue with our information while we were there and had to get it from us again. The reservation got switched with our family that was also staying there when we checked in somit caused a little difficulty for them on the charges. The staff and managers were fantastic and worked with me in ways I have never experienced at a hotel. They were very accommodating and pleasant!
