Customer service worse than hotel-how?

We arrived late and the person behind the counter was quite inflexible with their in-house rules about registration. That is fine as this is a low grade budget hotel but the individual did not need to be so snarky. Management calls me the next day to condescend me on their hotel rules. No problem there is zero chance that I will ever return to this filthy hotel and good luck to anyone else who does

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We found the fitted sheets to be a little over washed and housekeeping never cleaned our rooms during our stay. The key cards had a glitch that caused them not to work if they were next to a phone for too long. Great location and as a place to rest between busy days it was what we needed.

You get about what you expect. My stay was pleasant and staff were friendly. My room had clearly been cleaned, but you can tell that age/wear on the building leaves it feeling a bit dirty in a non-surface way (rust on some metal components, water damage or stains on floors/walls, faint mildewy smell in hallways). No sign of bugs or anything like that. Overall I think this is a pretty reasonable budget option -- it won't wow you but you'll be fine staying here.

The front desk was super courteous each time we left and returned. They attended to our lack of hot water issue within a reasonable time. Shower was leaking and dripped something black coming down wall from behind spigot. Sheets appeared to be dirty upon arrival but perhaps just yellow dingy from repeated washing. On day 3 we asked staff to change bedding and towels... they did towel but only made the bed. I had to ask again... which they changed at 4pm. They spray 'febreeze' to make the room smell clean even when they didn't clean but the room usually had a damper smell. Pool was simple, clean, and refreshing. Ample recliners for sunning. Not much around the hotel to walk to and there were no sidewalks ... more isolated location but easy access to Hwy192 and plenty of shops within minutes of driving east.

Property was all around below average. If you need a quick stay and don’t want to spend as much, then this is an alright stay for the price. Wouldn’t recommend if staying more than a night or two. HORRIBLE. BEDSHEETS WERE DIRTY AND STAINED.MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE SHEETS. Pretty sure they don’t do maintenance to the actual rooms bathroom utilities and accessories were all pretty rusty, moldy and old, the shower was also badly installed, the shower head wasn’t working properly. Pretty convenient location since it’s next to McDonalds and 7-11. As well a 10-15 min walk from some shops and restaurants The ladies at the frost desk were helpful and nice with our comments and complaints. Overall I rate it a 1/5 but recommend incase of an ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY. Not as a first choice or a choice even thought
