My worst experience in a APA hotel unfortunately. My room was the tiniest as possible and it got hot. They control the AC so in winter time they won’t allow you to use the cool mode. I had to leave the window open. The is ok but very small. It’s well located by the metro station just downstairs but with no elevator or escalator so let me tell you with your suitcases you will feel it. I couldn’t experience thr restaurant at the top because it was closes or fully reserved. The one downstairs is good and healthy. All restaurants are very strict on time. Outside of the window opening you won’t have your breakfast. The staff was not helpful with my ac situation and when i lost my receipt to log inin their system…

During cooler seasons many hotels in Japan including this one turn off their central AC to save energy. I and I’m sure many other people still prefer a cool room. Unfortunately because the AC was turned off the room was always hot and when I talked to the staff they simply tell you to open the window which only allows so much air to come in. I feel that if you pay for the room you should be able to have full control over things like that. At night I would constantly toss and turn because of the warm temperature.

Everything was fine . Room was a bit small, curtain had a hole in it and was broken. Shower curtain should be replaced. A little awkward taking a step up into the washroom. Overall a little expensive for this hotel

Very convenient area close to the subway. Staff were super customer service and went over and above what i would expect. I left my laptop in a cab and staff helped me phone the police department to confirm that the in fact had it before I made my way down to pick it up. All this was in japanese as english is my first language.

Ok but not worth it

Near the subway but far from both dotonbori and Umeda so had to rely on it. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Spa is ok but tiny The room was the smallest I’ve ever been in and I paid the most for the entire trip. Totally not worth it

Standard APA Hotel; however, the single room is smaller than the single rooms in Kobe and Himeji. Cleanliness is good and provided ammenities are good as well. Perfect for solo travelers and duo travelers (packing light).

The staff were nice, and spoke relatively decent English, which made it easier to communicate (which was much appreciated). However, the room that we were set up in smelt horribly of cigarette smoke, and the only way we could get rid of it was by running the air conditioning for a very long time. Overall, the building was very nice, but our room, I don’t know about other rooms. But our room was not nice.

Decent hotel stay. Not enough dining options very close by, so you’ll need to walk up close to Umeda, but it’s not an issue. Staff were kind, it’s APA, so you get what you pay for.
