Realised why so many complained about the long wait for the slow lifts - peak hours saw cleaning staffs using the guest lifts. Shouldn't they be using their internal staff lifts? I checked in with 3 staffs standing freely behind counter yet staff very persistent for me to use the auto check in machine, while she stood throughout with me to help key in the info. Why not be flexible to flex the warm human touch ? Buffet Breakfast without English Breakfast Tea. Unacceptable. Location not comparable- not much eatery (esp early breakfast) ,luckily at Exit 4 of station a supermarket that came in handy.

Room was very clean and large by Japanese standards. Nice view from the room. I did find that the fridge near the bed made noise during the night and this was annoying. Solid breakfast, unlimited coffee and water refill during the day. Good location.

This hotel is probably a victim of it's own success. It's a great hotel but because it's so busy, sometimes it takes forever to catch an elevator during "rush hour". We've had to wait for several elevators because the incoming elevator was packed, and the stairs were locked so we couldn't even take the stairs. I would do 4.5 stars if I could. But being popular isn't the hotel's fault (maybe having a third elevator could make it perfect.)
