Byward Blue Inn worth the stay!

Lovely hotel which was very clean! Close to Byward market, Rideau mall and walking distance to parliament buildings and other attractions. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good too!

Great Spot to Stay in Ottawa

My wife and I decided to take an overnight getaway to explore Ottawa and celebrate our anniversary. We chose the ByWard Blue due to its nearby nature to a number of restaurants and other local attractions in central Ottawa. Arriving, we were welcomed by a very friendly attendant who checked us in quickly and efficiently. The only downside is they have very limited parking (maybe 10 spots) and they’re not included. If they are out of parking, there is a public lot that is immediately next door and easy to get your belongings to/from the car. We parked in Nextdoor lot due to spots being taken. The room was like the rest of the hotel and was very clean and neatly arranged. It is obvious that cleanliness and maintenance are a focal point of the ByWard Blue. Counters, floor, caulk, shower, etc…all were very clean and in absolutely top form. I would venture to say this is probably the most well maintained hotel I’ve stayed in. Our room had a small kitchen area that had a microwave, mini fridge, as well as dishes, glassware, silverware, and supplies to clean the kitchenware. The bed area was simple but very nice and comfortable and the bed itself was cozy without the mattress being overly firm. Breakfast was very nice. Great selection including eggs, potatoes, sausage, sandwiches, bread for toast, pastries, coffee, tea, etc. Fantastic value overall for the price. 100% would come back here next time we stay in Ottawa.

Great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, close to everything, and the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. Byward blue inn offers excellent value for money and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Ottawa (downtown).

Absolutely amazing place to stay steps from the ByWard Market. Many different sizes of rooms to choose from. Breakfast is great. Staff are phenomenal. Parking is incredibly reasonable.
