Clean, spacious, earth conscious, helpful staff, comfortable and large room, exceptional cleaning staff. Overall, one of the best places weve stayed at. The complimentary breakfast is yummy and classy with real plates, bowls, etc. Walking distance to everything you want to do in OTTAWA. Very close to all things byward market!

This was our first time staying at Byward blue inn and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is in a fantastic location - can walk to major attractions and restaurant options are varied and plentiful and all close by. The hotel itself is the coziest, quaintest place we've ever stayed in. From the whimsical paintings in the hallways and stairwells to the super friendly and helpful staff, we really felt at home and welcome! Our room was spotless ( including the bathroom)and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony and liked spending time relaxing on it. The bed, for me was just okay comfort wise but other than that, i have zero complaints. To top it all off, the complimentary breakfast was basic but still more than we expected! This will be our first choice in hotels the next time we're in Ottawa - highly recommed!

Great location

Steps to Byward market area and Byward Square. The kitchenette was well equipped and the staff were very helpful. The hot breakfast had lots of variety. The hotel was quiet at night but we found the beds uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved our stay.

We loved this property! Great location in downtown Ottawa near Byward Market. Cute clean room with balcony. Very good breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend for an Ottawa experience.
