I stayed at the Ottawa Embassy Hotel during a work trip. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were clean and looked like they were newly renovated. The location is great. It was easy to get to buy car and a quick walk to several restaurants, etc.

Clean in all areas. Great staff at the reception who helped with all of our queries. We ate dinner at the on site restaurant and the food was very good with great staff. We had a suite and it was very large with a full kitchen. Beds were very comfy. Love the area also that was walkable and close to many sites and areas for shopping.

This hotel was disappointing. We were on the 9th floor. The room was like a sauna. We had to pull really hard on the sliding doors to open them and get some cool air as they are old and need to be replaced. We tried to use the thermostat to turn down the heat and it didn’t turn off heat. When we inquired with the front desk we were sent a maintenance person who told us that the baseboard heaters were centrally controlled and couldn’t be turned off. We left the sliding door open all night to be able to sleep. The shower has terrible water pressure, was difficult to get a comfortable water temperature and has cheap fixtures. The bed frame was longer than the mattress, so if you weren’t careful, you banged you leg on it when walking around the bed. The only positive was proximity to downtown Ottawa. All round not worth the price or star rating given.

Very pleasant service. Excellent location and clean modern room. Only drawback was very tight bathroom with building structure columns right in middle of bathroom. So we had to walk on our side in the bathroom. Are we seem to FAT! But we would return cause overall great.

Extremely great service

Staff was amazing and really helpful. We were there for a 3 day trip andy daughter got quite ill on last day. All staff was very accommodating with a late check out which allowed her to recover for a flight home. Would recommend.
