Clean, Family-Friendly, Oceanfront Vacation House in Gated Community!

An inviting front row beach house offers a welcome retreat for a family or friends to enjoy quiet, beautiful beach home with nothing but sand between you and the ocean. This 3-bedroom/3-bath split-level oceanfront getaway offers charming, newly renovated bedrooms and bathrooms and kitchen.

This is the right space for a refreshing beach getaway, surrounded by modern conveniences, such as free Wifi, an outdoor grill, flat screens, DVD players, and a washer and dryer.

The master bedroom feels like a starlit retreat, providing a queen bed with fresh white bedding and a beautiful view. The master bathroom has a tastefully tiled shower with stainless steel accents.

The second and third bedrooms have queen beds and closet space. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom.

The main living/kitchen has also been remodeled.
It currently offers:
-comfortable seating with an oversized, plush couch
-flat screen TV
-beautiful wood beams
-a kitchen space with a full-sized fridge, stove/oven, and dining area
-outdoor patio/deck with an outdoor grill and seating in the summer

PARKING: General street parking in the area can be utilized for free. The beach house is in a gated community (which allows for a large amount of space for parking outside the house).

There is plenty of fun to be found in the surf and sand (surfing, Dory Boat fishing, hang gliding, horse riding, hiking, kayaking, swimming, whale watching, golfing and many more family-friendly activities are nearby). We are only a 15-minute walk to the Pelican Brew Pub, a variety of nearby restaurants, and a local grocery store. Also we are only a short drive to Sand Lake. Bring your ATV out and spend the day riding around on the ocean front!

The neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a gated community which provides privacy and easy beach access for guests. No cars are allowed on the beach in front of the community - a nice plus!
Other things to note:
As a safety precaution, the lofts in the house are not to be used.

No pets are allowed on the property.

New carpet was installed recently, we would like it to stay new for as long as possible.

If anything in the home needs our attention, please feel free to let us know.

**note about the view**
We typically have a view of the ocean from the living room. BUT sometimes in the winter months it can get blocked by the sand dunes that Mother Nature likes to build. Be mind full of this when booking and know that refunds will not be issued because of the view.

This property does not live up to the presentation. The second and third bedroom are very small and difficult to move around. The ocean view from the living room and kitchen is blocked by a 7 foot sand dune along the entire beach. If you move the plastic chairs to the top of the sand dune the view is spectacular. We were fortunate with great weather to accomplish this.

This beach house was beautiful. We loved staying at this house. It's great to have such a beautiful beach view and sand right outside your windows. We enjoyed the downtown Pacific City restaurants. I was able to have a weeks worth of groceries delivered on Instacart from the Safeway in Lincoln City. I have a very restrictive diet for my health and a picky toddler so we needed more food options. The only negative was the extra bedroom beds were extremely hard, very squeeky and had a huge dip. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. Overall we loved our location and had a great time makings wonderful memories.

Location, location, location! Wonderful staying so close to the beach ... to just be able to head over the sand berm to get down to the beach. We loved walking on the beach; 15 minutes to Cape Kiwanda and more than an hour South to get away from the crowds. Or we opened the windows or sliding door and watched and listened to the ocean from the comfort of the living room or main bedroom. Nicely remodeled inside with all the main kitchen utensils provided.

The house was too expensive for what you get. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable, kitchen stocked with dated and sometimes dirty stuff, appliances don't work properly, shower leaked all over floor...etc... The view and locations were outstanding, though.

The views from this home are outstanding. It is an easy walk to town on the beach or on the road. The owner was very responsive. I had a couple of questions when I got to the house and she got back to me right away. It was nice to have a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. The few things that could be improved are a good cleaning in the kitchen. Cooking utensils and pans were put away that had not been cleaned and new pillows would be nice. The bed on the left upstairs has a pretty big sink hole in it and it is very squeaky. Based on the responsiveness of the owner, I do believe pride is taken in the home and again the views can’t be beat

We had an amazing stay! The beach is literally steps out of the back door. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a great convenience! Very comfortable and quiet, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Last renters failed to clean BBQ. Small garbage can was upside down half full of sand (corrected) large garbage can lid does not secure -rusted. Flood lights by door inoperative. No GFCI on outlet by kitchen sink. I am not trying to run your home down, we had a great stay and your home is very well stock. We loved your home and would rent it again. Thank you

Wonderful views!

The location was perfect and the house size was great for our family. We were a bit confused on the bonfire because we saw groups doing their fire on the end of the high dune because near the ocean was just too far and way to close to water. We weren’t sure what to do based on the strict instructions of the house so we missed out on doing this during our stay. Also, the accommodation was great, but we did have to do our own cleaning when we got there because there was sand and food under the couch. We also had to figure out the TV because a cord was undone from the back. We got it figured out by the middle of our stay. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and the views were spectacular!

Cozy home on the beach

This was a great house for our family with an awesome location on the beach where our kids could just walk out the door and play. It’s close enough that you can walk on the beach down to Pelican Brewery and other restaurants. We would stay here again.
