A Terrible Stay with Unexpected Ants!

Very disappointed with our stay. We discovered ants in the bathroom around during the night and by morning they had spread across the floor and curtains—an unpleasant and unhygienic experience. The room was also uncomfortably hot all night, with limited ventilation despite fans and a balcony door that barely opened. We had to step into the hallway to get some colder air. For £290 per night, I expected much higher standards. I’ve contacted the hotel twice through Hotels.com and also via their email on the website with no response.

Cheap for a reason

Staff tried taking a physical photocopy of my driving licence to check in, there is no need for this, regardless of what their policy is. Unwilling to provide a VAT receipt until the morning, delaying check out. Bathroom door literally had chunks missing from it. Stuffy, noisy room on main road. Only one power socket available, tucked behind a cupboard. Cheap for a reason...

The room that was provided B07 was in the basement. Which was very musty and very claustrophobic . The only window (if opened) had access to the public footpath hence no security. The floor was warped due to water damptness and can you believe it that the hot water kettle had to be placed on the floor in order to have the electric plugged into the eletric socket. The receptionest (Sheikh) was very courteous and apologetic but it was too late as there was no other room available. Despite its convenient location This room has to be taken of the rooblist and some serious renovations doneùy

The rooms are quite small so no one has their own space, but it definitely does the job if you plan on sightseeing and going out for most of the day. The beds are very comfortable but be aware that there is no AC, only a fan. Besides that, it's perfectly fine if this is your only option. The location is so good it makes up for any problems you have with the room

The property could use a face lift, and navigating the halls is a bit of a maze, but the staff were wonderful, and the location is literally down the street from Paddington station. The room had three twin beds which looked odd, but a big bathtub and everything was clean. No air con, but a nice standing fan that did the job.

Great location. Helpful staff.

Typical London hotel for the area. Small rooms but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Short walk from Paddington station with many shops and restaurants near by.

I got what I paid for, a 2 -star hotel. It was what I was expecting. Old and tired property but very clean and staff were exceptionally friendly. Fan in the room much appreciated. Good TV in the room.
