We loved the Pool

The room was nice, the beds were comfy, however the shower was weak and toilets not very clean Swimming pool was very nice but not very clean, the loungers flip sometimes and toilets have no rubbish bins

Great pool near the port

We had two nights here to complete our Sicily holiday. The hotel is expensive but it is summer. The room was spacious but the shower needs a good scrub. The pool was perfect for the hot days but railings and posts need some direct maintenance which is a feature of Sicily but should not be at this price. Location is good as it is not far to walk to the busy old town. Restaurant was very enjoyable.

We had a great stay! The hotel was centrally located and within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The kids especially loved the pool, which was a fun bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

I’ll preface this by saying I’ve never written a bad review in my life. But feel compelled to write this one. Check in nightmare with Guisseppina (sp?) - “can’t find your reservation from Expedia - it’s not our problem”. Had to escalate to manager who “found” us a room to stay in for the 3 nights despite being told they were fully booked. Pool had green algae around entire perimeter and steps all 3 days we were there - getting progressively worse each day - so never cleaned. Outdoor bar unattended for long periods of time. Manager reprimanding staff in front of guests. Filthy curtains in room. Restaurant for dinner at the hotel was awful. Cats jumping up on table while we were eating outside in the garden. Entire staff and management needs to take client service and hotel management classes from the Marriott hotel brand!

Okay..

Terrible shower. Completely saturates the bathroom and you have to use all your towels to mop up. Waitress clearly very stressed or didn’t really care about customers and kept forgetting parts of the order.

I was debating sharing this review, but I decided that I could be helpful for the property. My friend and I were very excited to stay at this hotel. A beautiful water front property. Our check in was seamless, the staff was so kind, and the view was amazing. Breakfast was always enjoyable, and although we didn’t have time to swim, the pool looked fantastic. Our stay took a turn during our second night. We found a cockroach in the room. As someone who doesn’t like bugs, that was super unsettling. Additionally, our room had two beds, one on each side of the room. During our last night, I slept in the bed that we didn’t sleep in the night before and woke up itchy. I had about 15 bug bites. I’m not sure what bit me or where they came from but it just felt a bit coincidental that the bites only appeared after sleeping in that other bed.
