The hotel is located in a part of the airport area that felt a little sketchy when we first arrived. Even our taxi driver seemed unsure and nervous, which didnât help! He actually walked us all the way to the front door, and once we saw people at the entrance, we both relaxed. It was honestly a funny scene after the fact.
That area of the airport is completely dead, but for what we needed, the hotel worked perfectly. Our flight was departing late at night, and we had to check out of our main hotel in Copacabana early, so we only needed a place to rest for about four hours. For that purpose, it was ideal.
The hotel itself is very simple, room clean and modest and the shower had good water pressure â I personally wouldnât stay more than one night â but it served its purpose. My husband took a nap, my daughter relaxed, we all showered, and then headed to the airport. The staff was great, and the lady who helped us spoke both Spanish and English, which made everything much easier. I was also happy that they offered transportation to Terminal 2.
Overall, itâs not a hotel for a long stay, but itâs convenient for a quick rest before a late flight.
