We've used holiday inn many times in the USA as budget minded travelers, and were wowed by the place. In particular, the breakfast menu was excellent and diverse and remarkably affordable. Fresh squeezed orange juice on demand, real bakery bread and pastries, etc. staff were friendly. After a long day driving through Paris we were thrilled to sit outside with a glass of wine and ponder what we'd seen.

Love this location for proximity to CDG airport, as from the inside of the building, you don't hear any jets flying overhead. It's spacious, clean, and the staff is kind and helpful. Having an airport shuttle is nice, just ask beforehand where the drop-off is so you can plan your timing/walk to the proper terminal. The restaurant had delicious food, and service was great. The room was spacious for many suitcases, and the pullout couch is great for kids. We would definitely stay again.

The property is perfect for a quick overnight stay before a long flight home. The beds are really comfortable and the shuttle to the airport is very convenient. The onsite bar and restaurant serve good drinks and food in a relaxing setting.

It took over 30 minutes for the staff to bring out scrambled eggs at the buffet after they ran out. The night desk clerk failed to add us to the airport shuttle the night before our departure so we wound up have to leave for the airport earlier than needed. The morning desk clerk was excellent. She offered to get us a taxi at 10 am.

They say free airport transportation but its not. They booked one for us which was really early than our flight time and still the driver was not there when we went. We had to uber it. Very disappointed.

I chose this hotel as it was near the hotel and they offered shuttle to the airport, however they fail to mention you need that they only go to certain terminals. Which was the purpose for booking here. I think it needs to be listed other than coordinating the shuttle with the hotel.

Our room faced east and was quite warm. I tried to turn the air conditioning on̈ without success. I complained at the front desk and was told the whole building air was turned off as the nights were cooling down. The hotel is right at the end of a runway. If the window was open, the noise from jets taking off was very loud.

Disappointed by High Expectations

I chose this hotel based on its glowing reviews, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While there were a few positives, the negatives outweighed them, leaving me disappointed. The Positives The highlight of our stay was the check-in process, which was impressively fast and efficient. This allowed us to quickly get into Paris, visit Notre Dame, and enjoy dinner—a definite perk for travelers on a tight schedule. Additionally, the room offered plenty of outlets for our electronics, reliable hot water (something seasoned travelers know not to take for granted), and a reasonable cost. Where It Missed the Mark The issues, however, were numerous. The bed was overly worn and uncomfortable, the pillows were as hard as rocks, and the bathroom was poorly designed. The shower was particularly frustrating—it was nearly impossible to use without flooding the entire bathroom floor. The overall decor was minimalistic to the point of being cold and uninviting, reminiscent of a “Spartan” aesthetic.
