Property is old and has that "old smell". The photos on Expedia are nothing like the real thing. Rooms are small, no fridge and TV only in french. Aircon was broken and by looks has been for a while. Elevator was tiny and 2 people and 2 suitcases just fitted with a lot of sqeezing or walked up the stairs. Staff were pleasant and location of hotel was close to most attractions, if not Metro station or buses were nearby.

Most of the front desk staff was nice and helpful. The hotel smelled stuffy and needed to have windows open in order to ventilate; there was a water vacuum constantly running on the second floor due to pipe burst and flooding. No phone in room, no mirrors other than in bathroom. Tiles in bathroom under sink were broken and there was a hole in the wall with exposed drainpipes. Very high bathtubs difficult to maneuver. Had to be asking for clean towels every day; had to ask for shower gel and shampoo on the first night of our 8-night stay as it was not replaced. The breakfast staff was not very friendly, and the items provided were limited. Common area living room was pleasant for afternoon and evening gathering with family and friends, coffee and tea was complimentary. The furniture in this room is in very bad condition. Friends traveling with us had a room on the 3rd floor across the hall from us and their bathroom constantly smelled of sewer. Management was not accommodating to issues encountered. Will not return.

If all you want is a bed...that is all this room had. Very small space. "Courtyard view" was a nasty, dirty pipe chase without even a view of the sky. Room was so small, I could touch both sides with my open arms.

Overall was a nice stay. Definitely a good location since most of the monuments were within walking distance. Got a bit hot over the last few days and the room was like a sweat box but other than that was a nice stay.

Great hotel, in a great location

Very nice hotel, in a great location, close to major attractions in Paris. The room was comfortable, and spacious enough for Paris. Our room had a window on the interior court of the building. They offer free coffee during the day, in a little boudoir, and a 24h reception. It was a really good value for the price we pay. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Perfect location! Many good restaurants and things to do in walking distance. There is an elevator although small it was a lifesaver after sightseeing. Small room but very cozy and comfortable. Great staff.

Had a lovely time in Marais and much of that had to do with the exceptional experience at the hotel Louver! The staff kindly pardoned or corrected my mediocre french and spoke english. As two young women staying in the hotel felt safe and fun! The elevator was great and we lived the free afternoon coffee and tea. The rooms were good and the bathrooms very clean. The area is a short walk yo the metro, picasso gallery and notre dame. The neighborhood was lively and so fun, especially if youblike thrifting and trying boutique pastry shops! Next door to the hotel is a FANTASTIC jazz club we highly reccomendation you check out too.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring all that Paris has to offer! It's quite nice and cozy, making it a great place to relax. The front desk is open 24/7 and always ready to help out. We really appreciated how clean and tidy our room was, which made our stay very comfortable.

Excellent location. Room was very quiet considering the traffic on Rue de Rivoli. The pictures of the rooms on their website are very old. Everything could use a coat of paint but that’s part of the charm too.
