Fantastic Clean Hotel

Very nice hotel in a good location with the metro station just outside. Very friendly staff and room was made up every day. Breakfast very extensive and reasonably priced.

Overall, the hotel was nearby to where we needed to be. However, the walls seemed paper-thin as we could overhear conversation in an adjacent room throughout our stay. Not the best place if you are looking to get sufficient rest, particularly as one is on a busy road, the walls are thin and the subway rumbles below...

Nice hotel. Rooms were small but it’s Paris…. The room was clean but not to my standards (hair in the shower and crumbs on the floor) The staff was nice and friendly though.

Fridge wasn’t working when we arrived, had to for it to be fixed, which they did. Air con not good, couldn’t set it below 20c. When the room was over 22c had to manually switch it on and once it got back to 20c air con switched off. Never automatically switched on once the temp got above 20c so had to keep getting up during the night to switch on again and this only lasted for an hour. So was up several times during to night to be able to sleep comfortably. Never known an air con like it. Told reception about it but nothing was ever changed. Two people in a room and only had one bath towel left after the first day. Expensive for what we got as breakfast was not included.

Excellent location (metro Republique), plenty of eateries nearby, short metro ride to all major tourist attractions and Gare du Nord if you want to also visit London, Brussels, or Amsterdam. Clean, air conditioning you can temperature control, very friendly staff

Although the hotel is dated, it is in a great location. The Metro is just outside the door. The staff were super friendly. the rooms were clean and value is great. Very centrally located. Notre Dame is a 20 minutes walk. Republic Square were the hotel is located is a very lively area with many good value restaurants around. Don't expect a 5 star hotel but you will definitely feel welcome. We will definitely go back next time we are in Paris

Convenient Location!

Nice stay right by a metro station which makes traveling the city very convenient. The room was a bit small but had everything you need for your stay. There was a door attendant all night which made us feel secure. The air conditioning wasn’t the best.

We stayed here in early June and had a deeply unsettling experience. On our first night, I woke up to hear two men speaking inside our hotel room—specifically, in our bathroom. I was shocked to find that it was the hotel manager and another staff member doing maintenance inside the room without knocking or notifying us. They claimed they didn’t know the room was occupied, despite us checking in earlier that afternoon and following the hotel’s key return process. I reported this at the front desk and was met with indifference. The receptionist questioned why I was telling him and made no effort to acknowledge what had happened. I raised the issue again before check-out, but nothing was done. No apology. No follow-up. No accountability. I would not recommend this hotel based on no regard whatsoever for basics guest privacy and the lack of professionalism in handling it.
