The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Iguazú Falls from almost everywhere (except for the jungle-facing rooms, of course). With multiple restaurants, activities, and excellent service, it feels more like a resort than a hotel. Being inside the National Park is a huge advantage—you can go in and out as many times as you want during your stay. Unlike the Brazilian side, here you’ll find several trails: the Upper Circuit, the Lower Circuit, and the train that takes you straight to the Devil’s Throat.
Although the building is old and it shows in the structure, the interiors have been completely renovated. Rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the service is outstanding.
Highly recommended—but don’t forget to lock your balcony doors. The local monkeys have a taste for minibar snacks and zero respect for personal boundaries. The hotel warns you about this from the welcome email to the door signs, but, well… we learned the hard way. Fortunately, they only took some minibar items, nothing valuable.
Ideally, stay at least two nights to truly enjoy both the hotel and the park. It’s one of those places where nature does all the talking, and you just sit back and listen.
