Great facilities, although be prepared to pay additional for parking and for the gym and swimming pool. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but without air con, we didn't have the best nights sleep.

A great hotel, felt like they could have charged allot more as other hotels in the area were more than double so didn’t expect much, was pleasantly surprised, wouldn’t rate the breakfast but we found a small bite to eat. Everything else was above expectations. Rooms clean, all staff friendly and helpful.

Lobby and bar area are decent. Room had no air conditioning and the windows only opened a fraction. Very uncomfortable temperature wise, and the bed was uncomfortable too. Not worth the money paid. Or any money really for that matter

This is a nice looking location with plenty of parking and the beds were comfy, it not a little hot, most of the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was fine. However there were quite a few issues which means I'd be reticent to return here. When I turned up there was an event going on, it was very busy and there were no obvious staff at the entrance and I couldn't figure out how to book in, which you have to do yourself, I eventually figured out how to on the ipad on my own even though the on screen instructions were wrong (where to place the keycard to program it) The free standing main light in the room was broken, unplugged and leaning against a scuffed wall, there was no ceiling lighting, just a bedside lamp which wasn't enough to work by. After a shower I realized the extractor didn't work so the bathroom didn't dry and it made the entire room feel damp, I kept the windows open to get some air in the room as there was no air conditioning or apparent source of other fresh air / circulation. I stayed on the 2nd floor and could clearly hear the music from a disco or event which was taking place somewhere below, making it hard to sleep until it calmed down sometime around midnight. One of the younger male staff members obviously didn't want to be there. When I booked out I did find someone at the reception table and told them about the room issues and they said they'd report them to maintenance, but by then it was a bit too late.

I stay in the The Village hotels a lot and usually no problems These 2 days were the hottest of the year and temperature in the room was 35+ degrees. The Dyson fan made a noise so thought working but after 2 days realised it actually wasn't. A relaxing get away turned into me feeling like I was roasted alive. I wouldn't of put my dog in there, seriously. Played havoc with my asthma and windows only opened a couple of inches for air circulation. At checkout I informed staff and received a mere sorry about that! £170 for horrendous restbite . I booked 1 day pass for the gym and charged for the 2 days again no offer of refund. I now wonder how many other times this has happened? daseriously.

Comfortable Bed

Not really the hotels fault but ended up paying for parking only to find out its free whilst staying at hotel. Room clean and very comfy bed and goid pillows. Only critism would be that room looked a little tired
