The staff was friendly and nice, the hotel is attached to the convention center which was super convenient for the conference I was attending, and it was extremely close to a Trader Joe's and Reading Terminal Market for snacks and reasonably priced food.

BEWAREEEEE!! My husband and I checked into this hotel on Saturday and checked right out shortly after. The check in process was fine. We got to our room and as one does we checked the beds. The mattress had DRIED BLOOD all on the corner of the mattress. I called down to the front desk and he had moved us to a different room and told us he will let housekeeping know. He even escorted us to our room. I told him I will let him know once I look at the mattresses again. Once again stained mattresses and the linen had blood spots. Needless to say we went and checked into the W.

We were very impressed starting with walking in the lobby. It has character with the bar, pool table, art work, big t.v. and ample seating. Room was on the smaller size, but we didn't need a lot of space. Bathroom was big though with good water pressure. Hotel and rooms were very clean, a very big priority for us.

Very small room, uncomfortable bed which had a plastic covering under the sheets. Air/hear difficult to control, no real dining and not the cleanliness. Certainly not worth what we paid.

Our room was exceptional, the view alone was incredible! This hotel is located in a perfect spot, an easy walk to the market for all the different foods you can imagine and several restaurants nearby. We were able to walk to the Chinatown area and see the liberty bell and snap some photos of all the amazing artworks, some of them in the most unexpected spots! I love Philadelphia and this hotel encaptures it's history and beauty while still being a modern and safe place to come home to after a day of exploration.
