This was a nice hotel and the room was actually bigger than I expected. I have gotten used to tiny European hotel rooms. The lobby area and coffee shop were nice and there was plenty to do nearby. I enjoyed my stay.

This was a perfect place to stay for a visit to Center City Philadelphia. The hotel's small size made it feel personal and welcoming. The staff were professional and helpful. My daughter forgot her laptop in the room, and the cleaning staff and front desk staff reported it to us immediately so that we could come back through after we had left and pick it up. They were so kind and attentive.

Weekend getaway

In town for the Savannah Bananas and the Motto was my first choice. I have stayed here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Great location, all the staff are super friendly and helpful, restaurants are great and just an overall wonderful experience.

This was our second time staying at this location. We really enjoyed our first stay here but this time, there were some misses on their part. We pulled in front of the hotel to check in and unload our luggage and we were greeted by a city parking attendant directing us to move the vehicle or we will be ticketed. Two other families were told the same thing. The hotel does not have a designated drop off location nor do they have anyone to help. When we enter, there is a security officer sitting at a table on an ipad. Helping with the doors or anything from him would have been helpful. We had to have our sheets changed due to stains. They were very quick to take care of this matter. The hallway had not been vacuumed (they vacuumed the next morning). Although not the hotels problem, the walking traffic in this area seemed a bit shady. We returned from dinner around 10 pm and we were walking quickly to get to the hotel. During the day we felt perfectly safe. We did enjoy the rooftop both evenings and the staff were very friendly and helpful(not the security officer). If you would like a no frills,convient location stay, I would recommend. If we stay here again, I hope this review helps them to make some corrections for our next visit.

Good option for the price.

The staff were amazing! Mo and Mel in particular. The room was small but had everything you could need. AC was loud, walls were thin, but neither were too much of an issue. Cleanliness could have been better, but I am very particular. Overall, for the price, it was a good place to stay.
