While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a few things that prospective travels should consider.
The property is older- I would guess it was built in the late 80's or early 90's, based on the fixtures- but the upkeep has been very effective, so that didn't take away from my experience. If you're expecting modern chic, I recommend looking elsewhere; I really enjoyed the "vintage luxury" vibes.
Staff were also excellent- everywhere you look, there is a sincere effort to satisfy guests. The breakfast was good, but some of the other guests were very rude; still, this can happen anywhere, so you really can't blame the hotel itself.
The pool and fitness areas were very fun and well-kept, but the pool is not heated, so it would take 100-degree temperatures to justify a dip; also, the hot tub is in desperate need of a resurface.
The location was a little sketchy, and we frequently observed homeless people in the parking lot; however, hotel staff seemed very adept at keeping them out of the building itself.
Again, this was a very enjoyable stay, and I do recommend it, but there are some major eccentricities that you should consider before booking.
