Stayed one night, going to a concert at the van Buren. Convient walking distance and close to train for airport. I know it is a historic hotel but they should update chair and bed in room, uncomfortable and lumpy. The shower temp was too hot and hard to adjust. The channel selection on the TV was weird. Felt like I was in the late 1900s, only infomercials, QVC, and old reruns

Historically Quaint.

Stayed for 3 nights. It's an historic hotel so everything is as old as my gramma's china. But that is the appeal. I will say the bed was spectacularly comfortable. I kept an eye out for the ghost lady in white but did not see her.

It’s an amazing old historic hotel. I would never stay anywhere else in downtown Phoenix. I love the hotel and have used it three times. The staff is friendly and nice. The location is great. The bars and restaurants within 5 blocks are plentiful. But the rooms are small and don’t have modern furnishings so if a guest needs a fancier place then this probably isn’t their spot.

Older hotel but clean, friendly staff. The free WiFi was worth what it cost, practically nonexistent. Had to hit a coffee house to do a work zoom. Overall it was ok. Had a certain charm
