Great place to stay in BKK. Pool is nice and clean and refreshing. The breakfast included was a nice touch. Food at the hotel restaurant is actually quite tasty! Service is great! Pricing is good! Definitely recommend!

We loved this place, in a great location for the old town and Sunday night market. We stayed in a double room, had a free mini bar and nespresso style coffee machine with pods. There was free coffee and snacks / fruit available all day in the lounge area and the pool area was great. It’s a great price and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Easy to get to from Phuket airport - take the orange bus, 100bht each and just over an hour, it’s a two minute walk from the old town stop or bus terminal 1.

The location is perfect, easy walking distance to the heart of the town and great restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and I appreciate that there is free coffee available in the mornings and that there were some complimentary snacks on check in and a new bottle of water provided al well as fresh towels every day. My only complaint would be that the top bunks in the dormitories are extremely high up and difficult to climb up and down the ladder, especially if carrying clothes or a bag. There is also no elevator to the upper floors so I wouldn’t recommend anyone with mobility issues to stay here, or if you do to request a room on the bottom floor.

Great hostel

This is a really nice hostel in a good location. The rooms are very cool and laid out nicely. The pool area is great. Only problem was there is no lift and the seat in the room was dirty. Otherwise great!

Misleading picture - swimming pool dangerous

The hostel is well maintained and stuff very friendly and responsive, but I have to highlight a dangerous issue. What is in the picture as swimming pool is totally misleading. Not only that , they should put not fit for swimming; and that for two reasons: (1) it is half meter deep and (2) it is extremely dirty. I asked the staff if I could swim and they confirmed by yes. I got a dip in it hoping it is going toward deeper side but you could not even float. Then I got a generelized infection and had to take antibiotics.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned everyday and new towels given. The accommodation is well worth it and the location is great to old Town Phuket.

Such a beautiful building! Every place in this hostel is so lovely. I stayed for 2 nights in the dorms, and one night in the private gallery room. The dorms are very cute and comfortable, and the high ceilings make it feel quite spacious. The gallery room is gorgeous, with an amazing view and a bathtub to relax in! The mattresses weren’t the softest, but better than some rock-hard beds I’ve slept on in SE Asia. The staff are so nice and friendly. Location is great: next to a little mall with a good food court, and an 8 minute walk to the lively part of Old Town. So glad I stayed here.

Book A Bed Poshtel was a great hostel, in a great location! The staff were very friendly upon arrival, and anytime I needed anything! I was able to book a shuttle to the pier and ferry ticket all in one from the front desk at a great rate, making it super easy and painless for me! The room was exactly as the pictures showed it, the steps up to the tops bunks was a nice change from the usual awkward ladder! The lockers are pretty big, and they are all supplied with their own key! The pool is not super deep, but still works great to cool down after a long hot day! There is also a nice deck around the one end of the pool making it the perfect place to read and relax. The hostel is right across from a little mall, and beside a spa and restaurant. It is only a 5 min walk maximum to the main shopping streets in Phuket Town! The Sunday Night Market is well worth the 5 min walk as well if you happen to be there on a Sunday! Overall, it’s a nice, new and clean hostel with great staff! The pool is another great perk! You can’t go wrong staying here!

Really rad interiors.

I stayed just one night in the 4-Bed Ladies. Bed was great - super comfy, a heap of personal space with a curtain, really cute interior design & super clean .. It was only a stopover for me & was perfect for that but there must have been about 30 school kids that stayed too so while this is a really nice hostel, its probably not a 'travellers' hostel.

Quite possibly, the best hostel I’ve stayed in! The staff is so kind, helpful, and accommodating. From a pre-booking tour of the property to identifying the locations of various Sino-Portuguese buildings in the area - the staff was ready and willing to help. I stayed in a 4 bunk, female dorm. Our room had its own private bathroom with shower in addition to use of the other bathrooms. Bathroom was spotless and came with shampoo, soap, and adjustable water temperature. Huge bunk space (especially ceiling height) makes the space comfortable. Charging outlet & individual lighting within the bunk space as well. Black curtains provide privacy and block out light. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Loved the comforter & actual REAL pillow, not a clump of filler like in some other places. Clean towel provided each day - bonus! AC worked great in the room too. Large lockers within the room that are big enough to accommodate a large backpack. Light breakfast is available as well - toast, cookies, jam, bananas, coffee, juice, and water. Pool area is a nice space to relax around. Plenty of seating inside too. The location is perfect - minutes to the Old Town main streets (I stayed on Thalang St initially and then relocated to BAB.) Store/shops across the street as well as a night market on certain nights. I would stay again if I return to Phuket.
