Very clean and comfortable bed, nice bathroom, we were in the dorma room and thought it would be very stuffy and cramped because we had such hot weather that day but it was lovely and cool I'd say it was well insulated.

Hotel was beautiful and included breakfast was good. If you want to eat there, reserve your table way ahead of time - restaurant is small for the hotel size and they only serve dinner for 2 hours each night. Lighted mirror didn't work and the pump marked "lotion" was filled with hand soap instead, but otherwise excellent. Oh, there were no outlets by the bedside tables, we both use cpap devices and had to borrow extension cords from the front desk which they did have available thankfully.

Great breakfast and evening meal

Room could do with a lick of paint. Beds very comfortable had a great sleep. Breakfast brilliant and plenty of it. We had a bar meal on the second day,again the food was exceptional. Parking no problem. Staff very attentive. The hotel is a 10 minute walk off the main street, so wonderful and quiet. They have a large grassed area with benches within staggering distance of the bar. Perfect sun trap. Will definitely be back

The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places, but the bedrooms have been tastefully redecorated and have everything you need - comfy bed, good bathroom with shower cubicle, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, large smart TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board and iron. It wasn't an issue for me, but the lift to the third (attic) floor wasn't working, and it wouldn't have been fun to carry large, heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs. Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and cold options. The hotel was very busy so we were asked to book in for a time slot for breakfast to help manage the numbers. This worked well though. I didn't use the pool, gym or spa facilities.
