Terrible customer service and unacceptable stay
The staff member on duty was rude and inattentive. She was absent from the front desk for 3–5 minutes, leaving me waiting in a cold lobby area without any assistance. When she returned, there was no greeting and no apology, just processed me.
Then, I was assigned a room with no heat during freezing temperatures—a room that was already on the hotel’s maintenance list per the manager later. My friend and I waited nearly an hour for the heat to work, but it continued blowing cold air. When I went back to report the issue, the staff showed no concern or urgency. There was no apology or explanation. Instead, I was told I had to move all of my already-unpacked luggage to another room.
To make matters worse, I clearly stated at both check-in and check-out that we did not want the hotel’s poor breakfast. Despite this, we were charged for it twice—over $28 each time—for meals we never had because we told them we didn't want it and like to sleep in. The staff member claimed she noted our refusal, but clearly did not because we got charged. Noone apologized for the freezing room, the inconvenience, or the incorrect charges. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. The staff member’s demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive, making it clear we were not welcome there.
We will never stay here again. This was a horrible experience and some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered at a hotel. Sad.
