It was our 3rd time here and we keep coming back because we love it. Rooms are clean, everyone is very attentive, the activities for Halloween and Dia de los Muertos for the children were superb! Great stay, service in every restaurant is always outstanding.

We were welcomed in and immediately was shown our room by our concierge ( i don’t remember his name but he was very helpful)! The food was delicious the staff was polite and helpful, room service was a little behind or short staffed but otherwise we got everything we needed when we asked for it. I didn't expect and didn't find anywhere reviews saying it is almost impossible to enter the sea. The beach front is destroyed. I was told "it is nature, we can do nothing" but looking south 2-3 hotel beachfronts, I saw pretty nice, sandy beaches. And again I can understand it but this info should be posted so anyone can see prior to book this hotel.

Great family vacation! We stayed 7 nights at Royal Hacienda. Clean, spacious and well stocked rooms. Friendly staff and above average food! While the beach definitely has erosion, the pool and beach front were maintained well. Shout out to Mario, Carlos, Juan, Rosa and Rosy for awesome service.

The room upgrade was good and we enjoyed the ocean view. The hotel lost its beach sand due to hurricane impact from 2 years ago, but the one the remains was kept clean and almost totally free from sargazo. The pools were great and the food options as well. Everyone was very attentive and we would definitely be back in a future trip.

Hotel needs more exciting entertainment and also more dinner restaurants. Service was great all around the resort. They did have a few meals that you would have to pay a premium for like steak. Edwardo and Caesar were great bartenders at the swim up bar in phase 1.

Mostly everything was great. The staff was hit and miss. About 90% were spectacularly friendly but there were those who looked and acted like they didnt want to be there. The breakfast in the morning was missing items that would not be replaced promply (30 minutes), also several dishes were cold.
