The front end service lacked urgency. We never received a call like they said we were going to when room was ready. My wife has a disability and with having to take medication, needing rest after traveling, waitimg until after 5pm for a room to be ready (over 3 hours after we arrived) is unacceptable.
Your bellman and outside service team needs addressed. A lot of standing around chatting with each other, AirPods in their ears while in front of guests - really? We needed help with luggage to store while we were waiting for the room to come available and we were directed to the lot in front of the hotel and was told someone would come and get us but nobody came.
The Front Desk Staff and Bellmen, need to watch your food and beverage team as the Breakfast and Service from that group was fantastic. They were greeting guests, hustling to each table, making for a smooth dining experience.
We are Marriott BonVoy Members and thought we would try a Hilton Property, possibly changing Loyalty Programs. After this stay, we will not be changing. We’ve never had to pay for extras such as S’mores as they are typically part of the Resort Fee and then the service we received from the Front Desk and Bell Staff was very disappointing and not expected. Had huge expectations and was very excited to stay at this property but those expectations were definitely not met and we felt robbed that we did not stay at a Marriott Property.
