Linens need updated, they charge for Wifi, cleaning details overlooked (used bar of soap left in the shower, stains on sheets) The location worked for our plans but I wouldn’t book again. It has a neat history and lots of potential but needs some more care to be worth the money to stay.

Unfortunately some of the streets around the hotel feel unsafe and smell urine. We wanted to visit the Chinatown area but turned back. Location is great for the Saturday market and Voodoo donuts.

I love this hotel. It’s in a prime location for dining and bar crawling. Lots of homeless because it’s downtown Portland, human feces on the floor about half a block from the front door.
