Nice hotel. Good location

Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel is clean. Rooms are updated. Central location for walking. Excellent restaurants and shopping close by. Big clean and nicely tiled shower with no shelf to put anything. Bed was comfortable. Parking is tight for any larger vehicles in that part of town.

I spent a week in Portland for work and this has been the best landing spot I've had in all my visits. The location was convenient to my office, restaurants, shopping, and just about anything needed during my stay. The room was spacious, the bed was fluffy and comfortable, the shower was divine, and having a kitchen in the room was the cherry on top. Highly recommended for a downtown Portland stay.

The Mark Spencer was a great hotel to stay. It is centrally located with a lot of shopping and dining places. Our room was great and spacious. The staff was friendly and professional.

From the moment we walked in the door the staff was absolutely amazing. Our 2 year old son got sick during our trip and everyone was so kind and helpful. We make several trips to Portland every year and will be returning here for our stay ♥️

We have stayed in this hotel, in similar rooms, 4 times over the last 7 years. We love the convenience of the hotel, but we have noticed a decline over time — not as clean, the furniture is very worn, the shower needs new tile, and the carpet is suspect. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying there again until they do some upgrades and remodeling.
