I’m writing to share feedback about our recent stay at Beach Enclave Turks & Caicos and to ask that you review our experience with compensation in mind.
I want to start by saying that the property itself has a lot of potential, and the staff we interacted with were genuinely kind and tried to be helpful whenever they could. Unfortunately, a number of issues made our stay far more stressful than it should have been — especially as I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and needed a certain level of comfort and reliability.
The biggest issue was the ongoing lack of hot water. Having hot water is a basic necessity, not an extra, and this problem happened multiple times during our stay. On multiple occasions, we had to wait about 45 minutes for maintenance to arrive, only for what felt like a temporary fix. We were told by maintenance that the electrical component was faulty and needed to be replaced, which made it clear this wasn’t a one-off issue. Not being able to rely on something as fundamental as hot water was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable, particularly given the cost of the room.
We were also surprised that bottled water wasn’t readily available. This was important to me while pregnant, and having to source it ourselves was inconvenient and concerning.
Breakfast was another disappointment. What was offered felt more like a quick grocery-store setup — pastries, a basic fruit plate, and self-serve coffee, with no fresh milk. This didn’t align with what we expecte
