The hotel is abaolutely stunning with views of the falls from lobby, terraces, restaurants, besically everywhere! The staff was very nuce and service was excellent. Regarding the VIP lounge, however, it was very expensive what what you get. The snacks were always the sane (no variation from lunch to evening). You are restricted to consume alcoholic beverages in the lounge, which wiuld be fine except the furniture and views there are not the best. Skip The VIP and enjoy a wonderful stay!! BTW, transportation was excellent as well.

The Gran Melia is a beautiful hotel. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent, the staff very pleasant, the pool is amazing. But what makes it outstanding is the ability to visit the Argentine falls as often as you want and for as long as you want, taking a break in the middle of the day. We thought it was well worth the cost.

This hotel is inside of the Iguazu national Park, so we are able to get into the park a bit earlier than crowd. We took the first train to Devil's throat so that there were not too many people around, and were able to get breakfast at the hotel afterword. Next morning, we walked on the trail and enjoyed the beautiful scene with only few people around.

Beautiful setting facing the waterfalls inside the national park. Outstanding staff services, great restaurants, and transportation services. Highly recommended!
