my biggest issue was i was on the ground floor right by the pool and I could here the talking around the pool and in the hallway until late into the night - not at all restful and impossible to sleep - the staff was fine - breakfast was ok some of the fruit wasn't ripe
Don’t let the exterior fool you, very nice inside with very friendly and efficient staff, this was my third time staying here and doubt it will be my last. It’s very well located amongst lots of restaurants and the public access to the beach just across the road.
The room was fine, but there weren't many choices for breakfast in the morning. I also wish there was an alarm clock in my room so I would always know what time it is.
Our suite was exactly as promised. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Great to be able to look out onto the pool. My first ever outdoor kitchen with everything you need to whip up your meals if you are so inclined. The morning breaks was very enjoyable, loved the fresh cut up fruit by a lovely lady.
Great authentic hotel, we had access to the incredible pool straight from our room, which was a sun trap all day and had loungers dotted around. Room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. Located in a reasonably good area, 15 minute walk away from the main strip so noise is low. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby to check out, which feel more like places the locals go!
Would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Wonderful little hotel out of the way very clean with excellent staff
Good energy but BE WARNED. Very much a local standard hotel with serious deficiencies. There are two buildings and the room types vary a lot. I was in the second building just past the pool which has ~12 pool facing rooms on ~3 floors. Here are the problems:
Bathroom: The bathroom door is not floor to ceiling but more like a shower door or public toilet stall door. So to be blunt every sound and smell in the bathroom is also in the bedroom. The bathroom has zero exhaust fan or ventilation other than through the door into the room. Shower was mediocre.
Aircon: Very loud window-type aircon unit that struggled to cool the room (but eventually did). There seemed to be 2 settings. Off and Max. The first night the noise was constant (which is a good thing). The second night it went on and off I guess as it hit its temperature targets. That's bad because just as you are falling asleep it gets noisy.
Window curtain: Not blackout at all. Very little light shielding so early morning the room is fully light. I covered it with a blanket which worked pretty well.
Noise: Thick concrete walls and no street exposure so very quiet. BUT half the rooms in the other building face the street so very noisy.
On the positive side just felt like hotel california. I'm sure many great days drinking margarits by the pool. The density forces you to interact with other guests. Some rooms have full kitchen terraces facing the pool. You can just feel many great times!!
I'm used to hotels but I've had to come down here sommculh this year that I decided to try some well reviewed budget hotels. This has a hovel, but a pool. Picked a mini shire and hotel tried to put me in a dorm room. Way too expensive for what if offers. No.ingles.
No face towels. Beds just okay. Idk where they for outstanding reviews from, but they don't deserve them. I'd rather sleep on the beach.
Rooms should be $20-30 usd max.
