This property is beautiful and has many incredible features. I wish I could have given it a perfect rating...but there are a few things that need improvement. First, we stayed in a swim out garden view room. This gave us lots of special features and access that were great! Very worth it. Our butler, Roalvys, was FANTASTIC. Arrival was rough, but I'm not sure it was the norm. A large business group arrived at the same time, and we waited in line for over an hour. Our first room faced a hotel under construction. It was noisy and an eye sore. However, Roalvys moved us to the other side of the hotel, which was perfect! (Building 4) The hotel, grounds, and rooms are incredible. Very clean, updated and well appointed. The service good some of the time - but not good most of the time. Very disappointing. This could easily be improved. The food was bad! This was our biggest disappointment. I've stayed at other AI in Mexico and have been very happy with the food. (TRS and El Dorado Seaside) We found a few things that were good and tried to order them again. However, several things were bad and, in some cases, inedible. Two stand outs for quality and service were the coffee shop and the Aqua Club. Miladys was a wonderful bartender! The beach was good. Lots of seaweed, but they worked hard to remove it. Some days were better than others. (This was one of the reasons we went to Punta Cana instead of Mexico, but it wasn't really better.) Overall, great and would go again!

I liked how helpful everyone was, the food needs more options & better cooks. Food was cold most of the time & food didn’t have taste. Our, Butler (Jonathan) was very helpful & friendly. The Spa was very relaxing, cute, but the prices is to high. Francesca was very nice whenever we seen her. The bars were great liquor most definitely put you where you need to be. The pool bar was lit. The resort stayed clean, & the decor is amazing. Overall if they get the food together I’ll most definitely be back.

Pur time at Live Aqua was just ok. First the pros. The facility and rooms are beautiful. Rafeal a concierge was very friendly. There were a few good servers as well. We enjoyed the pastas at the Mediterranean spot the room service was also fast and solid.As for the cons, our first morning there, we had someone trying to pressure us into using their timeshare called Fiesta Rewards. My wife and I both got sick shortly after eating lunch at the ceviche restaurant. A lot of the staff could have been friendlier. If you aren't upgraded to the Aqua Club, your alcohol selection is limited and pretty awful. Its also pretty hard to have someone come by to take your order when laying out by the pool. We only went to the beach once because the seaweed was so bad. Over all the stay was ok, but we would not recommend this resort to our friends and family.

The best trip! Our private pool at our suite was always clean. The staff was amazing and the food was excellent. There are plenty of daily activities for those who want to do more than just relax poolside or on the beach. Our concierge Alex was always there if we had questions. We are already planning next years trip to come back.
