The location is excellent, it is located across from the main Plaza de Armas. The room was not cleaned well. We found two small bugs in the bathroom in the trash can, and one on the sink counter. I noticed that the floor wasn’t cleaned well until our final day. There was a plant in the room that had dropped leaves before we arrived and those same leaves were there when we left. We also had a negative experience in the dining area. While having breakfast there the capitan came to our table to see how everything was. During small conversation he made a very crude remark that surprised both my husband and I, we were offended at his choice of words. His attire did not look professional for his position. During our stay we asked for change to use for tipping housekeeping and waiters but they were unable to assist us. The floors showed heavy wear and tear with deep gouges and cupping. One other thing, there was no coffeemaker in the room. It has been typical and expected at a room at these prices for us in the past.

Fue maravilloso, la habitación bellísima, un lugar único, vives la experiencia auténtica y su ubicación única, frente al jardín, aunque es el centro de la ciudad, la sensación es de estar en un pintoresco pueblito por el que paseas, comes rico y descansas, regresas a tu habitación y es como si regresaras a casa, tienen una armoniosa melodía por la mañana que es realmente relajante, esperó volver pronto, definitivamente una experiencia que quiero volver a vivir.

The property is fantastic. The rooms are unique. The personnel is amazing and the location is unbeatable. The only thing I would give ding it for is the fact that the rooms have this combination of old colonial architecture with modern industrial decor, which sometimes can feel a little too forced. Otherwise, an excellent place. I will stay at MSR again.
