I’ve stayed at this property multiple times and each time it seems to keep getting more downtrodden. It’s in desperate need of a remodel. I enjoy it because it’s spacious and nice to be “home away from home” but the interior conditions are run down. The wallpaper looks like there was a flood in the room. The shower was covered in rust stains. The bedroom curtains had weird stains all over them and some how I kept finding super long black hairs in the bed and on the sofa. It’s not bad but for the amount they charge for a room you can get something nicer across the street. The elevators also hardly ever work and if they do they’re very slow. The staff is always friendly and accommodating it’s just the property itself needs a new facelift.

Came up for the weekend, needed somewhere close to the mall and the Hockey stadium. This for the bill. Pros: the lobby was great, staff friendly, parking free and easy came with hot free breakfast, it was okay but free is free. The cons: this property had such great reviews online and we had stayed at the Marriott down the road last time, I thought we try this place due to price and room size. First thing was the main elevators were not working, they had a service elevator in the back but it seemed like it was on its last leg too. Then the hall to the room the carpet was a used and stained. Then the room, first glance looked great but then the little things come out, the attention to detail was awful. Our bathroom had one towel for two ppl, no conditioner, the lamp shades, coffee table, floor boards, carpet, and couch all had stains and the floor boards almost had what looked like water damage. The beds were made up with under blankets thrown on top of it. For the money, I would have been happier paying an extra $50 to stay at the Marriott. All this said, the staff was so friendly but that does not make up for a falling apart, dated building.

I am in a wheelchair and at the last minute they told me my reservation for a wheelchair room was canceled due to maintenance. Also only one elevator was working out of three and I was told that they have been out for months. For all the trouble I have received I have not had one apology.⁸

Everything was perfect for our stay with the exception of the free breakfast. We needed to leave at 6:30 am so we couldnt get any food. Maybe you could open the breakfast at 6am.
