Very clean, great set up, will definitely stay again. Awesome area to base yourself, good shops nearby, loved the fact that the heater and lights were on to welcome us. Great bed, usb ports next to bed, microwave, toaster kettle etc, plus the added bonus of a nice little cafe joining the accommodations.. good views out the door and car can park right at the door too.

Why I Love the Waterfront Wynyard

I really like the Waterfront Wynyard hotel. Lovely spot, great rooms, and very cool service — plus you get lollies when you check out! They even have a few dog-friendly rooms (I don’t have a dog, but still a nice touch). It’s just a 2-minute walk to the local pub and The Vault, both with excellent food, and right next to an outstanding fish and chip shop. I stay here when I’m working in the North West.

At Waterfront I was able to ride my e-bike right to my door, and, wait, here’s the good bit, the friendly receptionist suggested I take it into the room for safety and to recharge the battery. Could not have been more convenient. On the bank of the tidal Inglis River, just step out the door and there’s so much to see, starting with the sunrise.

What a great little find. Rooms were clean and comfy and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Easy walking distance to town. The bag of lollies on checkout were great for the car trip home. Would definitely stay again

Location was quite special with River and boardwalk right in front of the room. It was peaceful with easy access to walkways and shops, restaurants and hotel. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Only 20min drive makes it a worthwhile alternative.
