The basket was kind and courteous. Long line for in person check-in. The lady who checked us in was extremely thoughtful and was able to answer all of our questions. Room was spotless. Housekeeping was great when I asked for decaf coffee. They took care of us. The food was good. The drinks are plentiful, especially if your sitting at a bar playing video poker or a slot machine. The concert venue is excellent. Check out was easy. Valet was slow on pick up. Over all an great experience.

This property was problematic from the beginning. They told me I could be charged for resort fees again even though I paid for them through the expedia platform even though the charge was directly to GSR on my cc statement. There was a band at the pool and we were pool facing. It was so loud it felt klike the band was in oour room, nobody could sleep we were not told this would be happening. They said it would end at 11pm and it did nit! All family members called to complain and they were extremely RUDE about it. They credited our resort fee for one night but it took me getting very angry with them about it before they agreed to it. There were no washcloths when we checked in. I took an hour for the valet line at 10pm. I could go on and on.

We needed a much needed break, and Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) provided it. Check in and check out were smooth, and our room was wonderful. We enjoyed fine food, did some gambling, and even caught up with a friend at Grand Cafe, which had yummy food!😋
