This is for the hotel only. For the price, you probably can’t go wrong. The staff are nice and accommodating. Easy access on and off the freeway. Next to the marina which can be a nice walk.
Hotel is older with a Victorian flair inside. Check in and out was effortless although you have to do so inside the smoke smelling casino which is separate from the hotel (thankfully in that case). Rooms are not bad at all. Definitely a second hand feel from Peppermill but that makes sense. Bed is decent. Shower is nice. Good amenities that you expect but nothing that wows. Again, still not bad. Parking is decent but all the really good spots seem to be taken by the regulars who have no life. Good for them.
Overall, the hotel and experience were good/solid.
Only issue is the doors slam shut as they have no door closure mechanism to soft close. Seriously, you’ll be hearing slamming all night and day. Also, you will definitely hear the walking of whomever is above you. Granted, possibly standard in a lot of hotels but you can really really hear it here. If your looking for a place for great sleep, hmmmm but if your looking for a place to get a few zzzzz’s while very affordable, this is a solid place. I do like the place overall but will most likely stay elsewhere on our next trip. Good luck and cheers.
