The registration desk was difficult to find. Senior citizens and handicapped was not an easy place to register. It was a drawing going on so absolutely no parking spaces left. I believe spaces should be for hotel guests only. There were no carts to carry our items to the room. Once we discovered the layout of the hotel it did make it easier. I did have concerns about the safety around the casino. Heard a lot of negative remarks about undesirables. The room was clean and served our purpose of a bed and shower.

Check in went smoothly. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room is spacious. The wifi did not work for me. I didn't pursue it as I had other things to do. The room appeared clean, it was quiet, and I felt safe. There were dining options within walking distance. There is no microwave in the room, but there is a mini-fridge and coffee maker. Yes, I would stay here again.

Everything was fine. Its an older casino hotel so it has that ever present smoke and air freshener combination smell throughout the hotel room (even my non smoking room), but that is to be expected. The room itself was large, clean, in good condition, and ready when I arrived, so no complaints. The wifi takes a while to connect but once it does it is adequate. For the room rate it is a pretty good value. Plenty of free parking available in front of the hotel building which is separate from the casino building, where you have to go first to check in. There is a 24 hour cafe diner in the casino which is convenient and the service there was good.

This was my second stay at Western Village Inn. Both times the service was excellent. The room, beds and bathroom were clean and in excellent condition. I enjoyed a great seven hour sleep. I will stay there again on my next visit to Reno!

My Wife hates the smell of cigarette smoke. While the room was considered non-smoking, it clearly had been smoked in previously and they tried to mask the smell. While it seemed like good value online compared to other properties, it is a dive hotel. It might appeal to others, just not us. If you stay here make sure you push the door shut hard or it is still unlocked.
